Nihon Buyo is a classical Japanese performing art with a history of approximately 400 years. In 2023, it was designated as an Important Intangible Cultural Property of Japan and continues to be cherished as a representative form of Japanese culture.

Nihon Buyo features beautiful costumes and music, embodies deep spirituality, and underpins the artistry of kabuki as well as the dance techniques of Kyoto’s maiko and geisha. It also continues to influence contemporary Japanese pop culture.

We are enthusiastic about dispatching professional Nihon Buyo performers overseas to introduce Japanese culture, while also learning about your country’s cultural traditions and sharing them with audiences in Japan.

In addition to dance performances, we can also offer workshops and lectures on Japanese culture.

In addition to Nihon Buyo, we can also send professionals in other traditional Japanese arts, such as tea ceremony, calligraphy, and taiko drumming.
